Just Basics, Inc. is a parent organization equipping programs that provide for the basic needs of people in the Montpelier area. Click on the pages below to learn more about each program.
The Montpelier Food Pantry, located (in the basement of Trinity United Methodist Church) at 137 Main Street in Montpelier, serves emergency meals to individuals and families in the Montpelier area. Our volunteers come from across the community. Some of our clients come once a lifetime, and some return every month. Regardless of an individual’s situation, we are here to help. We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right.
The Montpelier Home Delivery Program is a non-profit organization that delivers meals to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities in the Montpelier-Berlin area. We believe that every senior should have access to healthy & nutritious meals to function safely at home for as long as possible. Through the dedication of our volunteers we provide the lifeline that many of these seniors need in order to maintain their independence by making hot and frozen meals available throughout the week.
