Join our board of directors!

We are currently seeking a treasurer along with other new board members to support our mission.

Are you a good listener, consensus seeker, interested in developing (or have) leadership and facilitation skills? Just Basics, Inc. (JBI) is looking for these qualities in our board members - pantry patrons, volunteers, community members are all welcome - the more connections we make in the community the stronger we are.

JBI appreciates community members who have an awareness of and/or investment in food security, an interest in food justice, social justice, agricultural experience from home gardeners to farmers. Nutritionists, activists, social workers, educators, eldercare workers, community developers, and nonprofit leaders are also welcome and would be a great addition to the future of the organization.

Whatever your background, if you’re interested in supporting our mission - to confront cycles of injustice by providing programs that increase awareness and access to basic resources needed for a resilient and vibrant community - then we welcome your interest in joining our board.
